Gary Stager was the professor for this course. He utilized google groups for daily postings on articles, videos, books, blogs, learning adventures, and all things related to teaching and learning. The semester started off with an ice-breaker that it included the reading of four online articles and discuss them on google groups.

I was once told by highly respected educator that one of the most valuable the traits of a good teacher is this: they introduce you to their course under a false sense of comfort and then the fireworks go off. This is exactly what I experienced in EDC-664. There was a calm exchange of ideas and thoughts on the four articles presented as the "Ice Breakers" and then came the "fireworks". Cadre XI was exposed to 10 Learning Adventures during the 16 week semester. These learning adventures introduced us to different computer software, learning opportunities, and provided an avenue for the cadre members to solidify into an effective community of learners.
